TEAM BUDGET ACCOUNT
With their team's
paid registration, a team is automatically given a $25.00 team budget
account. The Budget Account will be used to give teams and coaches the
ability to play the role of GENERAL MANAGER. The following is a
non-exhaustive list of items that the Budget Account will be used for. 3. Paid Player Contracts - teams will have the ability to offer PAID One-Game Contracts ($5.00 Minimum) to other players in the league fors or players who are not currently registered*, by permission of the League Front Office. *In
addition to the standard arbitration fee (details below)...there will be an
additional $5.00 Non-Registered Participant Fee Associated with non-registered
players. 4. Teams can also use their Budget Accounts to 'challenge' or 'match' specific Budget dollar amounts in which the winner, will add that amount to their Budget Account and the loser having that amount deducted.
5. Teams may also add Budget Dollars to their accounts by direct deposit to the Front Office or by participating in the various contest opportunities presented through the week.
Please Note: Budgets accounts cannot be redeemed for cash, nor carry any cash value, outside of TAFFL HEAT™, so no you can't trade-in your Budget Account for cash. However, additional deposited funds can be refunded, as long as the refund is requested prior to next game after the deposit. (For example, if you make an additional Budget Account deposit on Tuesday, you would need to request a refund before Sunday. After Sunday, the deposit is locked into the Account and cannot be refunded. Paid contracts will be paid in cash to the contracted player. There is a 20% Contract Arbitration Fee for One-Day Contracts, ie. for every $5 offered in a contract, the Front Office will receive $1.00 for arbitrating and processing. |
